This might seem like a story but it is truth happened at Zales store. My Husband got me a 1ct solitare certified ring worth $2999 from Zales store on 29th july 2008. when he gave me the ring i cross checked the certificate and the recipt, to my shock they gave my husband a wrong certificate and infact my husband opted for the ring because of the certificate which showed higher quality diamond than the actual diamond is..

we went to the store next day and asked them about it,there was another representative who said sorry for the mistake and gave us another certificate..the reason we took the ring is(though it was lower quality than they told us) because i fell in love with it...
i came back to the store during weekend and gave the ring to be resized..after that i had to cal them several times to confirm about the delivery but there was no proper response from them because they were relocating their store to another place which was acceptable but when atlast i got hold of the shop location and went into the store to my surprise again they gave me a ring with a feather in the diamond and claiming that the ring was the original one given to me...i couldnt believe and asked them to check the encrypted number on the diamond and the certificate which obviously didnot match. the representative who sold me the ring also agreed that the ring has been swaped and it is not the original one given to them so the regional manager and the representative promised us to get another ring with better quality..

i waited for more than one month but there was no proper response from them...so i went into the store today( promised date to return back my ring) and asked about my ring.. the answer was "sorry we couldnt find a diamond of higher quality in any of owr Zales stores"...the regional manager who promised us gave another option to take my money back and nothing can be done now...and the representative changed his words and says that the diamond with feather is the only ring and there is no other similar ring given to us earlier...all the people in Zales changed their words when i asked them to find my original ring and matching certificate...I even gave up the compensation for all the strain and stress taken these days but only wanted my original ring back...but they dint even return my ring but gave an OPTION to take back my money...

This is the worst experience i have ever had in my life and decided not to step into the store and neither recommand any of my friends to buy at any of Zales store...
