On 6/22/2013 I provided Zappones with the VIN number of the vehicle I wanted. We agreed on the price, down payment and payments on a 2013 Dodge Avenger. Per Zappone I Was to pick up the vehicle on 6/24/2013 as they had to go to a different dealer to pick up the vehicle.

On 6/24/2013, I contacted the dealership and was told that I would be dealing with the General Manager (Matt Zappone) as the sales person was out due to personal reasons. He told me that hadn't picked the vehicle up yet but was going that night and I would have it by Tuesday. Tuesday came and went and I never heard from Matt. I called on Wednesday afternoon to follow up, he assured me it would be there on Thursday and I could pick it up Friday. When I asked why the vehicle wasn't already on the lot by now he told me that he never got around to calling the other dealer to pick up the original vehicle and it wasn't available anymore. He assured me that it was the same vehicle I was looking for with the same options and price tag. I asked him to email the window sticker and invoice on the new vehicle. He told me I would have it by the end of the night and that he would call me Thursday morning when the car got there, I called Thursday afternoon as I had not heard from him. I did not get him and ended up talking to the finance guy. He told me he did not know if the car was there but would find out, it was not there. I couldn't get Matt to call me back but the finance told me he would send me a copy of the invoice and window sticker. On Friday I called to cancel the sale when Matt got on the phone and told me that his guys were already driving to pick up the car. He apologized and told me it would be in that night but he preferred to have me get it Saturday morning so he could make sure it was clean. I called mid Saturday morning to make sure it was all set, it was. I informed him that no one had sent me the window sticker or invoice from the car. He told me they would have that information when I got there to pick up the car.

On 6/29/2013 when I got to the dealership Matt told me it was his fault that everything went wrong with the picking up of the new car. When we sat down to do the paperwork the price of the new car was higher than the one I was shown and had agreed to. Matt advised me that he had found the car himself and didn't know how it could have been priced higher. He told me he would look into it. I asked him if I needed anything in writing and he told me that I didn't have to worry about it as we had purchased a vehicle previously from them that we had purchasing issues with as well and he would make sure he would take care of us. I made the mistake of signing the paperwork and trusting him, I assumed that with him being the General Manager and his father owning the dealership that I wouldn't have to worry.

On 7/19/2013 eight days before the temporary tag was to expire Zappones gave my girlfriends father all of my paperwork from the purchased vehicle. They told him I knew he was dropping it off. I called Matt to find out why not only was my person information (income/SS#/credit score/banking information) without my permission but it wasn't even in an envelope. He told me it was to register the vehicle, I told him the finance guy already mailed it out. Matt told me they never mail it to the DMV. I told him the truck's paperwork we had previously purchased from them was mailed to the DMV and the DMV then sent it to us as the amount that Zappones had sent was not enough. He told me that was not the issue this time, I informed him it better not be a money issue as I already paid more for the vehicle than agreed upon and he never got back to me on why or how he was going to solve it. He then told me that he had looked into it and it must have been a price increase issued by Dodge. He told me he would look into it why my paperwork was handed out without my permission and what happens if the DMV doesn't issue me a plate on the spot Monday when we go take in the paperwork. He told me he would look into that as well  I received an email from Matt that night stating "Tony when you go to dmv they will issue you plates on the spot." No other follow up on the above issues.

On 7/22/2013 the girlfriend went to the DMV to drop my paperwork off for me. The DMV informed her that the dealer had not sent over the correct amount and it was short roughly $41.00. The DMV actually showed her the letter that was sent back to Zappones stating that it was short that amount. The DMV also confirmed that they had received all the paperwork originally and had sent it back to Zappones. When I got home that night I emailed Matt and informed him of the amount that was short as well as the fact that they were aware of this when they received all the paperwork back from the DMV. I also informed him that they had over charged me for the car and now were nickel and dimming over $41.00 dollars after everything they had dropped the ball on.

On 8/12/2013 my girlfriend posted a comment on their Facebook page hopping that someone would get back to her seeing as our concerns have not been resolved. Instead of getting back to her they deleted her comment and blocked her from their page.

On 8/16/2013 after still never hearing back from Matt I emailed another Zappone manager (Beth). She advised that she was sorry to hear that I was having problems and if I let them know what they were that she would try to help take care of it. I emailed her back as well as the owner of Zappones the above issues. Included in that email was concerns about the truck that was purchased by my girlfriend, that still had not been handle yet (more promises made by Matt that have not been taken care of).

On 8/20/2013 I still had not heard back from anyone from the Zappone dealership and emailed them back stating I would be forwarding my concerns to State Attorney General, BBB and Chrysler.

As of 8/29/2013 I have still not heard back from anyone from Zappones on the above issues.
