On April 23, 2012 I wired $24,000 to ZAUSA to purchase a 2005 Freightliner truck for export to Africa. The company owner, Dominic Senti and his sales people were adamant that I rush the remittance of the funds for fear of the truck not being available anymore being that it was in high demand. I sent the money immediately because I liked this particular truck. After a month, I realized they were attempting to switch me to a different truck without my knowledge and while attempting to make me believe it was the same truck we had agreed on - it was only after demanding the VIN number that I caught them in the act.

I had to take personal time off to fly down to Tampa from Washington DC to face these so called truck dealers. After I started reporting them to the police, they promised to supply me with another truck of equal value. Since I could tell they evidently didn't have my money on hand, I agreed to this second arrangement with the presence of the police. I was promised that the truck was already shipped to Africa. It would take me several phone calls and emails which he avoided before I would hear from Mr Senti, and when I did, he would supply with another series of lies. As of today, August 20, 2012, he still has not supplied me with a truck. It has been a series of excuses and no delivery. As I write this, Mr Senti has been avoiding my calls for over a week. I have reported the matter to the Hillsborough County Police and the to the Florida Better Business Bureau. I write this without my $24,000 and without a truck to show for it.

MATTER SETTLED. Looking to have this report removed altogether

AUTHOR: David - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 30, 2013

On January 3rd 2013, the remainder of $3,950 was refunded and this matter settled. There are no more issues between myself and ZAUSA, Inc. I have been trying to find a way to have this report removed but the hosts are not reachable in any way, shape, or form. In conclusion, I wish to state that ZAUSA fulfilled their business obligations with me in this  matter.

Update to debacle with ZAUSA Inc

AUTHOR: David - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, December 21, 2012

As of today, December 20th 2012, my situation with ZAUSA, Inc and Mr Senti is still not resolved. Not that the resolution itself is too complicated to conclude, but the company just does not wish to put the matter to rest.I was holding off my updates because I did contemplate taking this posting down, but realizing that this is truly about deception and never was about an honest trade, I think I owe it to the any potential victim to share my experiences with ZAUSA, Inc and its owner Mr Dominic Senti.Somewhat of positive developments did occur: after 8 grueling months, and with the pressure from the Hillsborough County Consumer Protection Office, Mr Senti did refund me $20,000 of my money. He contends that he did sell the truck in question, but is withholding the rest of my refund pending my taking down this posting. Frankly, I was going to take it down had he just went ahead and refunded me in entirety, and you might not be reading this. The $20,000 was refunded a month ago, but since then I am being ushered another series of run-arounds and no refund.I have reported the matter to various agencies, and my correspondence with these agencies is subject to public record laws. My communications have included: -

The Florida Attorney General this is the office that provided me invaluable information concerning other agencies I need to deal with in addition to them-       The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Consumer Services-       The Hillsborough County Consumer Office this is the office that was instrumental in orchestrating activities that led to the partial refund great agency!-       The FBIs Internet Crime Division-       The Better Business Bureau of West Florida-       The Hillsborough County Police Department Reporting to some of these agencies involved my having to travel to Tampa, FL. For this I have had to take time off from work, purchase airline tickets, lodging, transportation and case filing costs all from my personal funds. My refund request from this company and this individual has never even included these costs, I have simply been asking for my original cash outlay for a truck I never got to see.

I have since purchased a truck from another company and the process could not be smoother. Not only was the product itself of exceptional quality, but the professionalism through out the process was remarkable all the way to the eventual delivery of the truck in Malawi. As for my communication with ZAUSA, Inc and Mr Senti verbal communication ceased in August. He has stopped taking my calls. We would text or email from time to time, but even with those, he is of the tendency to simply ignore my communication attempts gestures that signify to me his reluctance to put this matter to rest.I have had other individuals reach out to me after reading my plight. They seem to be victims of the same person and company.
