Zero Plus Calling, Inc, aka, Custom Teleconnect billed me for collect calls through SBC which I never accepted, in the amount of $212.71.
Evidently, when they try to get approval from a customer to accept or reject a collect call, if no person answers, they bill your telephone number as a "collect call accepted" anyway, if you have a voice message system.
I stayed on the telephone 30 minutes each time waiting to speak with a customer service representative. No live person answers at either of these telephone numbers: Zero Plus Dialing, Inc. 1-888-507-0734 or Custom Teleconnect 1-866-228-0717. A short recorded message plays over-and-over until you get frustrated enough to just hang-up.
SBC claims they can not assist me in resolving this issue. They are providing the billing to this company as a "courtesy". So, I will continue to pay the SBC portions of my bill that are legit.
