Zimmer & kohl Contracting Co. Ben Oghman and James Morris Contractor Rip Off Artists Zimmer & Kohl Louisville, Kentucky

Fair WARNING to all; Zimmer & Kohl are nothing more than RIP OFF ARTISTS!  I contracted with Zimmer & Kohl in January 2012 working with a sales representative, James Morris, to have the roof on my garage and home replaced due to storm damage.  It took them forever to actually start the job and I know that it was a challenging time of the year, but we had a mild winter and there were several days in March that they could have done what should have been no more than a three (3) day job (by their own estimate as well).  It took them weeks to complete, they attempted to charge me for (extra) costs that were within the scope of the contract price, and after they had torn the roof off and put just the felt on they tried to extort more money out of me before they would put the shingles on and complete the job.  When I refused to pay and asked for their attorney's name and number they gave me the name of an attorney/law firm that when contacted by the attorney that I had to hire denied having anthing to do with Zimmer & Kohl.  I finally got the job finished up that took weeks, a huge amount of anxiety, and a fat legal bill to get Zimmer & Kohl to honor their contract.  These guys represent themselves as a "BIG OPERATION" but from my dealings with them they appear to be a little shop that spreads themsleves way too thin, don't have the manpower to meet their contractual obligations, and treated me like a dog after they got their hooks in me.  Zimmer & Kohl (Ben Oghman and James Morris) are dishonest, corrupt and immoral (and those are the nicest things that I can think to say about them).  I would STRONGLY urge anyone thinking of using them for any kind of job to simply move on and use someone else!
