I would suggest that you get your facts straight before you report this rescue as a fraud.  You are way off base.  Seawind Stables, you are only angry because you got caught selling your horses to a killbuyer. 

SOS contacted Seawind Stables to let them know that a mare they raised was on the feedlot, heading to slaughter, to see if they wanted to help. 

SOS doesn't own these feedlot horses, rather they try to gather enough money to bail them off of the killbuyer's feedlot & find them a forever home, thus saving them from being shipped to slaughter in Mexico.  The Killbuyer owns these horses; Not SOS.

You claim that these horses were stolen 3 weeks ago, but yet failed to file a stolen horse report.

The horse sale (auction) states that the seller's name (the person who brought the horses to the auction) is a friend of Seawind Stables.

Again, SOS does not own these horses.  They belong to the killbuyer & are awaiting shipment to Mexico for slaughter.  SOS is only trying to save them.

And, further more, nobody has been asking where there money goes.  They all know that the goes to bail (save) the slaugher-bound horses off of the feedlot & for a quarenteen (if needed) & feed/care.

Since you decided to post your unfounded statements against SOS, I would suggest that you tread very lightly, as SOS now has grounds for a libel/Vilification lawsuit & I would be more than happy to foot the lawyer bill.

 

One more thing you may want to think about. 

 In your emails to Shawna, you not only threatened Shawna, but those around her, including the children.  Not very smart.

I see that in your Personal On-line Ad, you also mention that one of your hobbies is 'shooting'.

And, perhaps you would like to comment on all those legal court cases that have been filed against you.  Those are all public information.

 

Actually lets get the facts straighter. i have all the email between us and shawna..never did we threaten her and children.never did we say the horses were stolen.we said they were sold illegally while out on a care lease.and no where on the auction papers does it say a friend of seawinds so why don't you quit lying now and save yourself the embarrassment..there were lots of post on her own website concerning where the fundraiser money went to.there were also ads on there asking if SOS was still up and running and asking why noone had contacted them about horses they wanted to adopt.but after i mentioned it in my email to shawna they were deleted.SOS did not contact us about the horses a concerned citizen contacted us.but after shawna asked for money or registration papers and i told her it was wrong to extort money from the owners of said horses and i said one of sos' employees emailed us then she confirmed it was 1 of your people that had emailed us.actually a report has been filed and the brand inspector investigator of washington state has been in contact with us as well as some sos volunteers that say shawna byington is a horse trader not a true rescuer.if you read her blogs and forums and pay close attention she is friends with the feedlot guy and it sounds like she joins him at auctions to pick out horses.and up untill the last couple of days there was no phone number for sos only a website and an email address.why don't you people put all the post made by people back up for all to see that were there last wednesday 9-2-09 and count how many there were trying to figure out how to get a hold of you for adopting out a horse.everything that has been said is true to our knowledge and that is has been told to us by people that know her and that deal with her.

OK, first of all, there is no legal basis for a libel suit against the poster. Libel, as it's currently defined, does not extend to the internet except in extreme circumstances. 

 

Beware of your statements as well if you feel libel is being comitted.  False reports of threats made can be easily proven.

 

And while you're talking about legal issues in the courts, do you care to comment on the ones involving SOS equines? Yes, they're public record too.
