I fell for the whole timeshare scam myself. So far I have received just a book with pretty pictures in it and the idea that I have an opportunity to travel. They received a downpayment from me and had a company out of Chicago finance the rest.

I was promised that I would receive a membership card and information in the mail between 30 and 60 days. I purchased in 2-5-2007, and to this date I have received nothing, not even a membership card. I feel like I'm in a catch 22 because if I stop payment on my account the finaical company will report me to the credit beureu. I have filed a complaint with the District Attorney's Office in Chicago and found out I'm not alone. Tried to call Harbor Resort again and got nothing. I am returning to Vegas soon. Hopefully, I can be more proactive with this situation.
