Innovative Vacation Solutions AKA Costal Premire Vacations If it's To Good To Be True It Probably IS! Del Ray Beach, Florida

Today I got a call from Mike Phillips finance manager for Innovative Vacation Solutions offering me $42,000.00 for my Tahiti Village timeshare condo. At first I was very excited due to the fact I have been thinking about selling for about a year and the price was what I was asking. Mike said they guaranteed the money in my hands in 45 days, he had a buyer that had ernest money down and I would be a done deal once I agreed (verbally with a tape recorded phone call) to the terms and deposit. I asked what is deposite for? He went on to say it was for a 50 state Civil Litigation search, title search, maintanance fee search, fee extraction search and background check. Knowing full well at this point it was a scam I decided to play his game. I asked what the 50 state search was for? He said it was just in case there was a lean on me or my properties. OH..almost forgot that would include needing my and my husbands social security numbers for the background check. I asked how much the deposit would be and was told $2,499.00 payable by giving him my visa card number also offering to take it directly from my bank account if that would be easier for me. NOT. I asked him for 3 references of past sales and he said "most deffinetly" but he would have to get their permission first and would get back to within an hour. While I was waiting for his call I called the number on my membership card and asked how someone could get my name and number. I was then told that it is a scam going on in Las Vegas (where my timeshare is)and that they are getting names and numbers at the court house where owners are registered. It makes me sick that this information is open to any scum bag that decides to use it to their advantag! So ... word of advise, if its to good to be true it probably is. By the way he hasn't got back to me with those 3 references yet :)
