BEWARE! This company goes by several AKA'S! They prey on victims by telephone telemarketing, promising you GIFTS to attend their timeshare presentation.

I was given a $50 Monarch Grand Vacations "Preferred guest" Visa card. I mistakenly misplaced the card and it was "lost" for a period of time. When I found the card, it had expired. I contacted Monarch and requested a replacement card, since there was still money on it which had not been spent. They refused to honor it.

ACCEPT THEIR GIFT CARDS AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Pacific Monarch ViSA card

Ok, c'mon now.....lets be serious.  I'm all for valid complaints about a company but this one had my in stitches.

The compnay gives you a gift card that they paid $ for, in this case $50.  You lost it and then found it and it was expired.  You went back to the company and asked them to replace it, something that would cost them another $50.  They say no, (and what person with a brain can't understand that) and you feel they ripped you off.  ARE YOU SERIOUS?  Try this one, go but a gift card from any company in the world or a super market that sells them and then go back the next day and tell them you lost it and that they should replace it.  Let us know if any of them fall on the fall in laughter at you.

That company, Monarch paid for that gift card from a VISA distributor.  I doubt seriously, in fact I am positive they don't self fund them, no company does even though their name is on it, and you want them to pay for your flakiness???

You got the gift they promised you...you lost it......your fault, not theirs.  Take responsibility for your actions.  Give me a break.  You give people with real gripes a bad rap.
