IHOP NEVER paid overtime, constantly called you into work to NOT pay you. Rarely gave time off, couldn't keep employees and employyes did drugs on work grounds without being punished ripoff Carrollton Texas

Many of the IHOP assistant managers smoked weed and did other drugs on the job without being fired. Cooks would drop food on the floor and refuse to remake it and make you serve it, and managers would not give discounts to the people for it. I constantly got called into work and when my pay checks came i did not get paid for it. By state law (maybe even federal) if you don't make at least minium wage they have to up your pay. I came home with almost $10 in tips a night, i even remember coming home once with $2. That is in no way minium wage. And when you worked over time, NO PAY. The manager once requested that i do "bus boy" duties and told me i'd be paid 5.15 for it since i was not recieveing TIPS. When i got my check it showed i didn't even work that day, i didn't even get paid my regular $2.13 an hour.

My last week of work I worked overtime 20 hours, they made me work 12 hour shifts all week, when pay day came i didn't get a pay check, and until i called coorprate I didn't have a pay check. My manager claimed she paid me, and would only give me the $80 my pay checks always were. I do not suggest working for IHOP, specially as a server.

What does other employees have to do with paycheck?

What does other employees doing drugs have to do with your paycheck?  Also for people who make complaints about not being paid the time worked, why do these people keep going to work there?  Haven't any of these people heard of a labor board?  Or maybe it's just that they were as good of an employee as they should have been and/or are fudging a bit because they are upset with ex employers?  I see so much drama added to rip off issues, people should leave out the personal drama unless it is actually affecting the real issue.
