I called in an order to Outback Steakhouse Curbside Takeaway. I picked my food up and I ate the whole meal and was almost done eating the bread loaf they give with every meal. I turned the loaf over to put some butter on it when I noticed that the WHOLE bottom and throughout the bread it was from MOLD. I was so disgusted I immediately got sick.

The next couple of days were horrible, every time I thought of food I would get sick....it's even grossing me out as I write this. I returned what was left of the bread and did get my money back and a quick "Sorry we'll check the rest of them". That bread is what they give to every table how can they serve that??? It wasn't just a little mold on the bread the whole thing was moldy...I took a video of it and uploaded it to youtube:

I tried looking for a corporate number on their website and couldn't find one. I did ask the manager for corporate number and got a phone number with an answering machine that answers.

What more do you want from them? They apologized and refunded your money to you.

That is what anyone would expect them to do. They have not ripped you off, they made things right.

What is your complaint? You found moldy bread, took it back, they gave you your money back as well as an apology. They also provided you with the corporate number, after you asked.

Sounds to me like they handled everything perfectly.

Questions...

Why did you upload a video of the screen showing the video?

Because of the re-recording the video is blury and shakey, making it hard to view. But one thing that it did appear to show is that the meal you claim you ate was mostly uneaten. There also appears to be a second piece of bread in the container. Did that piece have mold also?

How much time passed between the time you ordered the food and returned with the moldy bread?

Also, what other compensation did you want? They refunded your money, said they were sorry and said that they would check the rest.
