I am the owner of the Patriot Service Network and I just want everybody who reads this report know that the author of this complaint actually made an update comment one day later, stating the following:
“. . . they were actually great about resolving the issue here. It was the salesman that was dishonest. The office manager was very helpful. . .”
I want to assure everybody that the Patriot in no way approves of dishonest sales tactics (or any other business function) period. The Sale Rep referred to in this post has not been associated with the Patriot for quite some time.
We work in an industry involving insurance restoration construction and we try to go out of our way to explain exactly the way we work with our customers and insurance companies so that there isn’t any confusion. Because our industry has its share of dishonorable contractors we are very clear on what our invoice for the work will be.
A majority of our work is the result of an insurance claim involving hail, wind, tornado, hurricane or flood. Our invoice is simple; we charge the customer what the insurance company is paying for the project – nothing more and nothing less. If the final invoice is ever different from the original insurance estimate, it is only because the insurance company has approved and agreed to the modified figures. As always, the ONLY amount the customer is paying out of their pocket is their insurance deductible. If the customer adds any additional items not covered in the claim then that would naturally be out of pocket as well.
The Patriot has an excellent record with the BBB. The Patriot has always said that we cannot be perfect, but we can respond in a professional and timely manner to resolve any issues that arise. Please judge us on how we respond to issues. However, if we are not aware that a problem exists we cannot fix the problem.
