Rick's Continuous Gutter: Door-to-Door Rip Off Door to Door free estimate turns into high pressure sales, forced to ask them to leave. Springfield Ohio

This afternoon I had my first and final interaction with Rick's Continuous Gutter from Springfield, Ohio. I arrived at my elderly grandmother's house to watch the "partner" in the business putting on a high pressure sales seminar. He started with "let me provide you a free estimate and you can decide if you'd like us to put up our new gutters, it will only take about 10 minutes." 30 minutes later, it turned into a verbal estimate and verbal guarantee, followed by us having to step in and demand that he leave the property. When asked for the estimates in writing, he pushed further for a quick decision based on his verbal offer. Grandma told him that she would have to talk with her son and then make a decision. This was not good enough for the unethical salesman. He droned on and on about how all of his satisfied customers and that her son would probably tell her not to have him do the work (amazing, her son said not to trust anything not in writing.) We finally stepped in and asked him to leave, even as he went to his truck, he was still talking about the great work he could do.

Please do not consider Rick's Continuous Gutter for any gutter repairs at your homes, ask friends for recommendations, those are more reliable than an over-zealous salesman standing on his own soapbox willing to say anything to make some money.
