Alltel sent me a prescreen offer of two cell phones 0. payment 0. shipping cost. i received the phones i with in days of recieving the phones i got the bill for over 300.00 dollars i had somany day to return them to not pay for phones and phone bill. Tucson Arizona

i have been getting computer people calling at my home and my ex-mother -in-law is getting upset. i talked to alive person finally after weeks of getting flustrated, irradated because i couldn't get a person. the person i talked to said she would have my account zeroed out. because one i didn;t have a 10 digit account number for i did hsve ther phones but a few days , specally when i got a phone bill with in days of recieving the phones. no calls, no activating it and more then the payment i was quoted, of $89.00 a month. so see the big part of me sending back there phones in a flash.

1. Alltel very seldom sends out ANY offers from service, however they have many independent agents who do. Your offer sounds like exactly that.
2. Yes, you did get a bill within a few days of staring service, and that is NORMAL. Most people are put into cycles ending within a few days of their service start date to cut down the prorated partial month charges...and you also pay for the month in advance on that bill too. Again, NORMAL.
3. If you returned the phones and you activated through an independent agent, then it is up to THEM to report the return and credit back your account.

alltel, is still calling my message phone.after i had decided to decline their offer and returned them back weell within ther time limit.alltel automated servise constantly calls i have many times to resolve this issue. now the automated services say my phone service has been inturrupted because of no payment and it gone down but i want it gone.
