CRS INC I just knew the kid was a rip-off artist, but I let myself be convinced otherwise! S. Aubrey, Texas

This young man walked onto our property and immediately struck up a conversation with my husband, being very complimentary about the property and telling him about winning a trip for selling the most magazines.  My husband turned him over to me and I was immediately suspicious and told the kid so.

He sat down at our picnic table and proceeded to work his game on me. I continued to be suspicious, but he was very charming and unfortunately very convincing. He gave me the phone number of his company which I called and they sounded very legitimate.  He continued to charm me and answered every question without hesitation and with what seemed like very logical answers. 

I had not heard about this scam and so was totally duped. I again became suspicious when he asked for cash..that should have been my tip off.  Usually, I don't have cash on me and that would have been the end of it, but on this day I did.

So now having seen so many reports on this website, I feel so ripped off and told my husband I will NEVER buy anything again from a door-to-door salesperson! I've learned my lesson--$58 later!
