Educational Sales And Marketing - ESM - Shanklin Group International Nearly Ripped off to the tune of $4000 by this fraudulent internet marketing company high pressure sales tactics to unsuspecting consumer!! St George Utah

On 5/28/08 I was contacted via phone by a Justin who got my name and number from a purchase I made from internet marketing guru-Michael T. Glaspie, AKA Mike G. Justin claimed to work for Mike G and proceeded to ask me numerous questions about my internet business, my income, etc. and offering marketing and advertising services/packages which range from $3500-$20000.

Justin referred me to an Anthony Seagin, who is nothing more than a high pressure salesman/con artist to see if I was a candidate for their program. I finally connected with Mr. Anthony Seagin on the telephone May 30, 2008. What he was pitching sounded really great and just the type of services I needed to get my new internet business going.

I am a bit of a saleman's dream and agreed to give their services a shot for $4000 with the guarantee of a return on my investment within 6 months. They got my husband's credit card info from me and emailed me a contract to which we were to sign and fax back asap. My husband did not speak to Mr. Seagin nor knew nothing of this agreement.

I did not get a chance to look over the contract until later that night. I noticed that the Customized Educational Package Description was quite different than what was pitched to me over the phone. I also noticed other discrepencies throughout the contract.

Needless to say, I decided to do a little internet research before the $4000 transaction went through on my husbands credit card. I found 3 Ripoff Reports and a slew of other complaints against this company and their high pressure, empty promise sales tactics.

I have yet to determine whether this company actually has any real association with Michael T. Glaspie or any of his companies. I am in the process of trying to obtain that info. and have not been able to find any sites or so called testomonies that Mr. Seagin spoke of relating to Mike G or their program in general.

Anyway, my husband and I immediately contacted his credit card company in the morning to be sure that this charge did not go through. We cancelled the card in fact. I also called Mr. Seagin and left him a voicemail to contact me about this contract.

Mr. Seagin contacted me via phone on the morning of May 31, 2006, and this is where it gets good guys. I first calmly explained to him that the things in the contract where in direct conflict with what was promised to me over the phone and that I did not think what they were offering was worth near $4000. He immediately started speaking over me and getting very rude and defensive. He then pointed out that he had my credit card info and that we would be charged as I verbally agreed.

Here's where I lost it and told him the card was cancelled and he wouldn't get a dime. He made some kind of ridiculous threat of a lean and proceeded to yell at me. I also questioned why if his services were so great that he had to be so rude and abrasive in order to get me to agree to them.

I basically told Mr. Seagin to F--- Off and not call my home again and I hung up on him.

I immediately called me back to harass me some more and I hung up on him. I have not heard back from him again yet but I can tell you he chose the wrong woman to mess with.

So in closing, BUYER BEWARE! Do not get suckered by this company and their false claims and extremely RUDE sales people! Do not give them your credit card info and agree to anything until you get the contract. I would avoid doing business with them all together! Professional con artists!!!
