Heartland Inc. Magazine Subscription On the phone they told me I had ordered magazines from them four years ago and now I had to start paying. I received a bill in the mail for magazines I did not even order. Please be careful of this Rock Hill, South Carolina

Fraudulent Magazine subscriptions.

I was somehow tricked into giving this company my Visa.  They said they just wanted to verify what they had.  I told them I was getting two magazines.  A few days later I get a bill for over $1,ooo for five magazines that where never mentioned in the discussion.  On the back there was a place to sign if I did not accept this contract.  I have signed it and sent it back and called Visa to be on the watch if any charges come from them I will refute them.  Be careful of this company.  Heartland, INC.  They are definitely very clever in how they get you hooked.  Hang up on them right away!!!  That is what I should have done.
