Jane Beatty And Company Inc. Fax scam took nearly $1,000 with nothing in return! Ripoff Margate Florida

Our company received a promotional fax around the 20th of March 2007 for Sportswear by Jane Beatty. The moment we expressed interest via telephone, Jane Beatty's company was extremely helpful in setting up our order and art. The requested full payment of $953.75 in advance which they would arrange DHL to pick up. We were informed that once payment was received we could expect our order in May.

Our check cleared the bank less than one week after it was sent. By May 25, 2007 we had heard nothing. After several phone messages left on the answering machine, the only thing that answers the phone at this company, we sent a fax requesting a delivery date. We received no response.

Continued attempts throughout June and July proved fruitless. At least six phone messages and three faxes later, we received a fax stating that they had received our message and were experiencing computer problems. They assured us a delivery date would sent by the following week. The fax was received on July 16, 2007. As of today, August 23, 2007, a delivery date has not been issued.

On July 26, our company set yet another fax informing the Jane Beatty company that if our order or our refund were not received by the 3rd of August we would be reporting them to the BBB. In response we received a return fax handwritten on our original that stated the owner would be calling us. Since the return fax on July 30, 2007, we have heard nothing. August 2nd our company faxed back that since nothing had been heard we would be reporting the company. We have heard no response.

As of today August 23, 2007 we have not received our order, refund, any information, or a simple phone call. We hope we can be a lesson to those who might do business with these frauds.
