LA Marketing Firm LA Marketing Firm Didnt tell me the comission structure!!! Wouldnt let me tell to entry levels. Shady $100 a week for 55 hours in got sun! Burbank California

Hi I am an ex employee and I got screwed over by this company. They are a branch off of Cydcor. Anyways so I applied for this job because I needed money. You would think after working about 55 hours a week you would be getting something. But with this company it is a joke. Here is how it all started. So I applied online. I got a call back within a day. I went in for an interview. I got a call back after the interview for a 2nd interview. The first interview was very brief like 15 min. So what happened afterward is I went in to see how the job works. The job is door to door sales. It is a contracting company for AT and T. You sell Fiber-Optics Light speed technology. Its what DSL was to dial up ten years ago. When I got hired they told me that they uped the commission structure and that it was a good time to come aboard. I got my hopes up. This was a manager training program, to be your own owner. How it works is that everyone benefits from others by building a team. You start off as an entry level, then you get promoted to leader. Once you are a leader you then take entry levels and promote them to leadership. Once you have 5 leaders on your team you get promoted to assistant manager. Once you have that position your guaranteed to be an owner of where ever you choose. So my first few paychecks were average. But one things these guys forgot to tell me about was THE CANCELLATION RATE!!!! These guys do not want you to know about this so READ ON!!! This job is commission only job. I don't have a problem doing a commission only job unless I"m getting paid for it I HAVE BILLS TO PAY!!! Heres how it goes. When you place an order you get paid for it in 2 weeks, however if that person cancels the installation for the fiber optics they withhold the amount they paid you 2 weeks previosly. So because of that you never know exactly how much your gonna get paid. I was placing 12 orders thinking I was gonna get $700. But because some cancelled on me i only saw $300 and this is for one week working in hot sun for 55 hours. So after seeing my check they finally explain to me how it goes. They convinced me to stay, I don't like to quit. But when I started speaking to entry levels about how the pay structure works they got mad at me. They said we don't want to "neg out" entry levels. It might hurt chances of leaders building their team. That kinda confused me. Finally after my check was for $70 dollars I Quit. I wasted 2 months for nothing!!! These guys need to tell everyone HOW THE PAY STRUCTURE is. They don't. I never signed anything on how it was nor verbally told. I have a job. but I"M GONNA HAVE TO STARVE until wednesday when money comes in, because of what these guys put me through. Another thing too. When I told them my financial situation They said yeah we will give you money, but you have to pay us back. Isn't the whole point of a job to make money for your self and not borrow from your employer?? I'm sorry but that just made me angry. Dont get me wrong you do learn a lot about sales, but its not worth it if your time is not being compensated. Take caution about taking this job. Make sure that you ask for structure of pay, because if you dont ask they wont tell you. I'm looking at options of what to do if somebody can email on what I should do or what I can do that would be great. I dont want anyone else to become a victim of THE LA MARKETING FIRM INC.
