SHOPPER DISCOUNTS ripped off and pissed off!! Malden Massachusetts

I never even knew who these people are never been to there website or anything. I called the day i noticed this charge and i spoke to someone who asked me my email address and said dont worry im canceling your account with us and u will not be charged. A confirmation email will be sent to you with all the information we had just discussed. Needless to say i was never sent that email and the charges never got refunded back into my account. Now there is no phone number for me to contact these people!

I hate to say this but this is a legitimate transaction. It seems that I had purchased something from Buy.com and was offered a Shoppers Discount trial offer and I just clicked yes without reading any terms. If you have recently purchased something from Buy.com then you have more than likely done the same thing as I have. I hope you caught it early because your account will automatically be deducted $12 each month after the 30 day trial period. I was not so sharp to catch this as I was billed for 11 months until I cancelled the so called service.

Sure it is a little misleading but if you read the first email you got from customerservice@shopperdiscountsandrewards.com and click on their terms of service you will see that they explain that there will be a monthly fee of $12 for their service.

If anyone has gotten a full or partial refund please let me know.

I contacted Shopper Discounts to cancel my membership and within 5 days my bank account was fully refunded. I had missed this for 11 months and they refunded every month that I had paid. Here is the number for customer service 1-800-889-8776 . They were very nice and very helpful.

For future reference, be weary of those $10 off offers as there is usually something hidden in the fine print somewhere. The $10 off looks like a good deal at first but these companies get you on a subscription service that you dont really want.
