Oakwood - Oakwood Acceptance Corp ripoff What a headache this company has casued Corpus Christi Texas

We purchased a double wide from oakwood in corpus christi TX 1997. Being a military family oakwood told us when it was time to move they would take back the home. So new orders came in we were moving. Oakwood came out & were very pleased with the condition of the home. Said they would have no problems selling it. Our mortgage was paid on time & up to date. We signed the papers & were told when they found a buyer they would send us a copy of the papers. Well 2003 we recieve a letter telling us they had our home & we owed $44,526 if we did not pay it they would sell the home. They sold it & for $7,000 & sent us a bill for $46,504. Come to find out they had 2 families living in the home. Oakwood denied this saying there was only one. I told them I had proof from the park owners lawyer that two families lived there. Also found out they down graded the carpets & the refridgerator.

Also when the second family left they took all the appliances. We got a lawyer who contacted them & we have not heard from them since. I told oakwood to send me a copy of the title & they said they could not do that because I was not on the title. Now Vanderblt is on my credit report for the $46,504 even though my husband was the borrower from oakwood. I am who the hell is vanderblt. They told me they had bought oakwood mortgages after they went bankrupt. Then they tell me I am not in there system them how come you are on my credit report. Told them I need a letter stating I do not have a delinquincy with them to be told NO. Told me to get a hold of the credit companyies & dispute the claim. Don't trust these companies they are frauds. Vanderblt want me to pay them money from oakwoods liabilities & I am not in there system. I cannot buy a home because of this crap. I am really angry right now. Banks will not help me unless this fraud is off my credit report.
