Here is what I posted on other sites. Please help.

A door to door sales rep form pinnacle security system sold me a unit last June. As a first time home buyer and veteran, I wanted to protect my first home and kids. The sales rep presented the package and we signed a contract. The tech came to my home to install the unit and said I was still vulnerable through the garage and I would save on my insurance with a fire detection system. He said that this would be part of the package with the $99 installation and the $44.99 a month. As I was cleaning the wood chips from my floor the tech asked where the contract was so he could sign stating he installed the units. There were two techs that came to my home. As the one kept me busy the other modified my already signed contract. I was unaware of this until they debt my account for almost $500. I called five months ago and I still have not been reimbursed. I asked to cancel the package and they stated that I would need to pay the remainder of the 39 month contract totaling around $2000. The company's copy of the contract was also modified by the tech after leaving my home. He forgot to modify the grand total on my contract. OOPS!!! My grand total for the install was $99. The contract that Pinnacle has says $397. They want to stand by this contract and not let me cancel. I said they could keep the total I have paid so for to cancel the contract. I spoke with supervisors from every department. I was calm and kind for the situation I was in. I even asked the cancellation department's tech Brian Zollinger how he felt if this was done to him. I was unaware of this company's bad sales techniques and horrible customer service. Also if you own a Pinnacle system you need to pay the city to respond if you have an alarm. This is standard, but they don't tell you this, nor do they set this up for you. You just have a high tech system on your wall that's worthless. Please contact me if you can help or just want to shout out your feelings.

I am going to post to all cities that they are licensed in for the remainder of my contract or until they settle an agreement with me. I am going to modify my Pinnacle sign in the front yard and put it by the curb. Any ideas please email me for the modifications. I will send pictures. Something like UNsecured by Pinnacle! Any ideas. How's this one: come on in and help yourself because the police will not respond because pinnacle can't have police respond and the sensors don't work. Too long!!!

Sorry to hear about your situation. I could not really investigate into your account, because I do not have any information. Though the only thing I can say at this point till you give us a call (866-722-9030) is Once the installation was finished you needed to have a confirmation phone call about your contract, and answer 5 questions yes or no. Including anything that wasn not or been modified on your contract... Since your installed, you said no...

If you said yes, they will need to redo the contract. So the question is, why didn't you bring this issue about the other amount other then $99 installation fee?
