Shihtzu By Burnwood DO NOT BUY A PUPPY FROM THESE PEOPLE BEWARD Raleigh North Carolina

I purchased a black and white shihtzu from shihtzu by burnwood about 3 years ago. I went to their home to see the puppy and then gave them a deposit of $300.00. I was told that I could visit the puppy every week on sunday just to call ahead.

When i atempted to do this weird things began to happen.
Carolyn tried to say i had called threatening her and that I would loose my deposit and could not purchase a dog from them.

Well after much calling I did recieve my puppy.I think they finally gave me the puppy because I live locally and knew where they lived. If i had lived out of state I would probably not have gotten my deposit or my puppy. I got her at 6 weeks old. She was not fully weened and had alot of trouble adjusting.

Fortunatly she did not have any health issues. I did not recieve any paperwork with my puppy, and i was told she was show quality. I have found out later she is puppy quality and not show quality and I paid way too much money for her.

I went back to the burnwoods to look at another puppy about 2 years ago. They met me and my husband at an apartment and brought what they called IMPERIAL SHIHTZU'S THERE IS NO SUCH THING. THIS IS THEIR WAY OF GETTING MORE MONEY FOR THE PUPPIES.

The puppies looked sickly and we did not purchase one of them. They wanted $1200.00 for each of them. They are definatley running a puppy mill and I feel sorry for all the puppies that are being born to their dogs. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Contact the akc shihtzu association for a breeder where you can buy a puppy that does not come from a puppy mill and that will have health problems later on in life. I did purchase another shihtzu from an akc approved breeder in virginia and there is a world of difference between my first and second dog. I love the puppy I got from the burnwoods but if I had to do it again I would not purchase a dog from them.
