If any of you have been victimized by Cydcor or one of its nationwide affiliates, now is the time to speak up.

After grad school, I moved out of state to accept a recruiting position with one of Cydcor's so-called "marketing" firms. I was thrilled at first by the youthful, friendly atmosphere. Then I quickly realized my days would be spent flat-out lying to potential candidates about the company's alleged "growth opportunities" and misleading them about pay structure and health benefits. I watched the employees in my office arrive at 7 a.m. for team meetings (which were unpaid), spend their own money on gas to drive to assigned territories miles away from the office (not compensated), use their own cell phone minutes to make sales calls (not compensated), and finally, return to the office at 6 p.m. exhausted and maybe a few dollars richer...IF they made any sales that day. I resigned after 4 weeks because I could no longer stand the lies, but have since seen many job-seeking friends get their hopes crushed when they realize what Cydcor is all about. Because of this, it's time to raise awareness and get rid of this organization.

Every day, naive new grads see job offers posted by these companies online and in the newspaper. Every day, more of these innocent job seekers learn the hard way about business ethics. Many of them get sucked in by the company's cult mentality and don't learn until months or even years later, when they are thousands of dollars in debt and exhausted from 12-hour days on commission-based pay. But YOU can help put a stop to this epidemic.

Contact the news channels, both local and nationwide. Give them the links to Cydcor's website and this website. Ask them to go undercover and visit a Cydcor-run company. Then, make official complaints to Monster.com and Careerbuilder.com. Explain that their credibility diminishes when they allow deceptive job postings on their site. These Internet job sites are the main avenues of recruiting, and if Monster and/or Careerbuilder removes all Cydcor postings, there will be no more new recruits. No more recruits = no more money = goodbye, Cydcor.

If you're on this site, chances are you already know the damage Cydcor has caused. Don't you want to help others avoid making the same mistake you did? Please speak out and do what you can to prevent Cydcor from ruining anyone else's life.

Best of luck to you all.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Personally, I'd punch the guy who hired me in the face when I found out that everything he said was a lie

AUTHOR: Paul - Anaheim (U.S.A.)

If everybody did that, this scam would end in less than a month.

In a month's time, these junk-selling scams go through hundreds of people.

If every one of them came back and kicked some ass, the owner would be too beat up after the first week to continue on.

As long as these fools continue to find new victims and make money, this will keep happening. But, when the owner has lost all his front teeth and gets a bloody nose each day, trust me, he'll wise up quick and put an end to this scam.

#2 Ex-Employee

Ditto.. Someone needs to shut them down.

AUTHOR: Jodie - Vienna (U.S.A.)

Hi- I am also a former employee of Madison Marketing Group in Vienna. I went through the same exact experience, except mine was cut shorter b/c one of the managers decided to make an advance. I don't understand how this company is still in business. Someone needs to shut them down. They should not be operating a business.
