well first i thought it was a great looking job that was offered to students who just got out of high school. then i went to the interview and it looked too good to be true, so i decided to do some research and talk to a few people. so then i found this web site and i read both sides of the argument. the positive side, which were few and a little too "loving" about the job. the negative side was what exactly what happend to me, at least everything up untill the training.

i had a alot to loose by going to these seminars. first was some money because i don't have some nice "business attire." the second was some hours at my current job which is very secure because of the descent pay i recieve every two weeks. the third would of been a decent job and a job all together because i would of quit my old one and quit this one for vector in a week or two. the point im getting across is that i was kept ignorant and my attention averted some where else.

when i called the office where i got interviewed at and i asked what happends when you only know people that don't have alot of money, how do you get started? the money that they do have the people use to survive. the economy is terrible and people are using the little money they have for nessities, not luxuries like high quality knives. thats just the way the situation is right now for alot of people. who is gonna pay for these knives when they could barely pay for rent. alot of people are losing homes. and its pretty sad that youre vulturing on peoples family and friends for the new reps to get started espically in the situation alot of people are in. damn immoral thing to do.

Why did we need to know this?

I have some personal experience with Vector myself, and all of it positive. Your report is not based on actual experience, but on what you read about it online. Nothing about your experience proves that Vector is a bad company, and nothing about it contributes to anyone looking for information on it.

A BUSINESS is, by definition, out for profit. That doesn't make them evil. A good business believes that, even though they are gaining money from the consumer, the consumer is getting an equal and fair trade-off for their money. Cutco knives are extremely high quality, and worth every penny. The company stands behind their guarantee and treats their contractors with respect and dignity. Does it have flaws? I'm sure. But you have not given proof of any of them.
