XP Antivirus 2008 (Unregistered Version) Lying, stealing, double-charging. worldwide

On 5/17/08 I turned on my computer to find the monitor covered with information that my computer now had a viruse. There was no way to get rid of these images on my monitor, except for one button which I was instructed to hit so that I could purchse a CD which would eliminate this virus! There was no other option, so I agreed to purchase this CD for $69.95 in US dollars.
I was told this CD would be delivered to my home address in about four days!

About an hour later, a friend of told me that by back-stepping my computer to an earlier date, I could eliminate this virus. I did this operation, and it worked. I imediately shot back an e-mail to this seller, informing it that did not need the CD after all. All I got was a recording telling me nothing! I also tried calling this company, but after about a 25 minute wait, I was automatically cut off! I immediately contacted my bank, whose credit card I had used, but was told that I would have to wait about three weeks before they could do anything.

Meantime, my bank billed me for this order...not once, but twice, bringng the grand total to $139.90. I never did receive the CD, and my bank informed me that I will probably have to pay this amount. Upon checking through my computer I came across Badware Alert :XP Antivirus 2008-Donna's Security Flash. There were dozens of people ripped off by this same company within the last month. Please make your readers aware about this fraudulent company in France (or maybe Germany). Thanks.
