I signed up for directtv on March 16th 2005. I ordered 1 high definition box at a cost of $299 which directtv took directly out of my bank account.

When the 1st installers came out I was told that there was a line of site issue and that high definition could not be installed. I called directtv and was told the money would go back into my bank account in 5 to 7 days. 2 weeks went by and nothing.

Then I called again and was told by directtv that they would have to send another installation company out to confirm I could not receive high definition before refunding my money. They came, they confirmed and still no refund.

I just called again and was told that Directtv sells the equiptment and whether it works or not is not their problem. They are refusing to refund me the $299 I paid for the high definition box!!!!
