Directv ran my credit without authorization, very unprofessional employee Colorado Springs, Colorado

About two weeks ago I received an email from Directv offering me free installation and setup. I have been wanting to get Directv so I followed the link to their website and began to fill out the information. At the end it asked if I was willing to submit to a credit check, which I did. It came back stating that my credit was good enough to qualify for the free installation and  zero setup fees. At the check out screen I attempted to enter my credit card information and it stated that their online system was having trouble processing payments at that time. So, I decided to call in and finish the order manually. When I called in i was connected to a man named Larry in Colorado Springs, CO. The man wasn't very professional to begin with (using slang, I'm not sure what I expected from an order taker in a call center though). He took some of my information down and then without asking my permission ran my credit through a second time. This time it cam back as needing a $500 deposit, I can only assume this was due to the fact that it was run twice in a row. When I asked why he ran it again instead of using the first one, he replied because I told him to and he had it on recording. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he refused to let me. I asked him to let me hear the recording and he said he couldn't do that. At that point I became frustrated and demanded to speak to a supervisor, he stated that there were no supervisors on the floor, just him and three other guys. He transferred me to a gentleman named Joe, employee number AQ0682, who said there was nothing that could be done but he would be happy to take an order for me. How ridiculous is that? They screwed me over and refused to accommodate me then wanted to take my money anyway. If you're calling into these guys to set up service make sure you don't deal with this guy Larry from Colorado Springs. He is completely incompetent and is a very shady character. Also, if any attorneys read this and think I may have legal recourse against Directv for the unauthorized credit check please give me a call.
