 I looked at my paypal statement and saw a charge from searchenginesareus.com....and at first forgot who they were (it had been at least 4 months since we talked), so I panicked....i emailed the company a request to stop on billing me, and to give me their phone number


Because the company, Rob Giles, did not call me or email me a confirmation that this was done, I went through paypal to find out who they were and to have them investigated. It was my fault that I did not examine my paypal statements, and that i forgot about who they were....However:


1) Mr. Giles NEVER informed me what was done for the money I paid....I would still like to know. The last email, or second to last email i sent him, I asked him what work was performed for the $ he siphoned from my account....He will not tell me...although i am definitely going to give him the opportunity for a rebuttal on that.


2) I think they advertise that there is no contract. Believe me, you want a contract, and you want it in writing that they will contact you periodically to update you as to what has been done.....it is my belief that this company makes its $ off of people who simply forget to or overlook their credit card statement (or paypal statement) and forget about them.


3) You should probably ask what expectations you can have and a time line for that


4) The bottom line is that i feel it was completely unprofessional and shady that this company says they did work for me, withdrew $ from me from my paypal, but never called me to update me as to what was going on, or their progress (for over 4 months). Even now they won't tell me, and i asked...and i am asking...


Rob - Its your turn for a rebuttal....if you do not tender one, then the reader should infer the most likely reason.

A rip off is when you dont receive the product or service you were paying for. I did provide the service . I have already proved that. It is not part of my service to contact each client. Paypal take the money out of my clients accounts and paypal offers electronic receipts each month via email. The gentleman in question already filed a fraudulent claim against me in which paypal denied.  He could of canceled at anytime if he was unhappy with the service but i feel as though he forgot he was subscribed to my service which is hardly my fault. I feel bad that he did forget and is upset but i feel he should be more upset at himself then the company he is doing business with. The day i did finally receive a cancellation email, i canceled his subscrition on the spot. I cant do any better then that.  I am not upset this time a that this gentlemen has taken the need to post on this website, however i will take legal action against this person if he continues to slander my name and my company again.  i will not continue to offer any more of my time or rebuttal towards this matter.
