I received an offer via e-mail in regards to the ADT $99.00 install fee, free equiptment on a three year contract.. I contacted the number on the website and scheduled an appointment with the service rep. I fully explained to the rep that my house was pre wired and with no telephone line. The rep told me that they offer a wireless monitor and would only be an addition few dollars a month. No problem. I scheduled the install date and PREPAID the the installation fee.

Installation Rep showed up at my house in a two seater car??? He told me that he was there just to install the wireless monitor and that was it. I called the CSR for ADT and she told me that that was all that they were scheduled to do. Whereas the offer they sent me was a full hook up.

Anyrate, I called and spoke to rep and asked just to get my money back and I would do another source on the alarm. I canceled the installation on 02/09/08 and was told that my money would be returned to me 7-9 days. I'm stioll waiting. I called and spoke to the supervisor for ADT and she told me that it could be thirty days until I see my money. BE AWARE of their offers and do not prepay!!

I never heard you had to pay a installation fee I know you have to pay 99 dollors for the activation and thats it

I work in tampa, florida and I have been doing this for three months. When a customer doesn't have a land line phone we do have other options for the cell phone. The equipment they give you is different but it should be the whole package. The only thing is you have to pay a little more if you want to have 2 way voice but other than that you should receive every item you was promise. Thats when the sale rep he makes the contract he give all the details on what you are getting and you are suppose to sign it and I am sure you know what you getting because thats the reason you called the sale rep in the first place. Go and look at the contract that has all the details on what you are getting than see if thats what you received.
