Firstline Security Service, Monetrice Ripoff Or Legitimate? Albany, New York

After a call from a Mr Michael Burton on a Privacy Manager Number(because He tried to call from a blocked number) I tried to call mr Burton back but the number He gave me was Not a working number. Since that call I call the number on the billing statement their company sent me and I Finally Talked to someone name "Tina" She went into a long monolog about my responsibilty to check for fresh batteries, test system once a month, etc etc.

Today I receiveda call from Monetrics and the lady identified herself as Anya or something like that. She informed me about my responsibility to test my equipment, etc etc, and then She preceeded to tell me that I would receive a refund of $246.96 which is what I paid in 2008 before I stopped paying anything. Upon receiving this check I was to make my future payments of $44.99 to Alarm Services, begining in February/2009.

After my conversation with her I tested my alarm and No one called me. So I will Not be sending future payments to these people and If I cash the check that they supposely be sending me, I will be abligating myself into a "new contract" with them. I feel that everyone who has their System should flood the BBB, 7on your Side and anyone else who can expose these people.

If you as the "Victim" of this company don,t know weather to pay these people or not just get money orders and hold them, also its my understanding this Company file bankrutcy so who's getting our payments? Too many questions and not enough Honest answer. I say hold your monies until Your expectations are met.The number for Monetrics the lady gave is: 1-800-447-9239 But, since I tested my equipment and I did not receive a call back, I am going to sit on my laurels and wait for their next move.
