Firstline Security Systems Don't Fall For This!!!!!! Orem Utah

This guy came to my door and sold my wife a security system siting our proximity to a bus stop as a tremondus security hazzard. The system was installed within hours, tested and approved by the installer. My wife was told that our house was selected due to it's street presence and only one house in the neighborhood would recieve this "SPECIAL DISCOUNT".

After the installer left my wife tried to change the access codes using the MASTER CODE supplied by the installer who stated that he had changed the code for our protection.

After attempting to change the code myself (in his handwriting) I contacted Firstline and was told that the local contractor would contact me. In the meantime I was told that we could use the remote control to arm and disarm the system. This seemed reasonable.

I departed the following Monday on on a buisness trip to Idaho feeling that my family was secure.

When I returned on Friday, my wife was not at home. Without thinking about the recently installed alarm system I entered the house. Realizing my mistake and not having the remote or a disarm code I waited for a call from the monitoring company or the King County Sheriff. Not to be!!!

I reopened the front door, both sliding doors, and the side door,NOTHING!!!

I even set off a smoke alarm____NOTHING!!!

This is security??

Several Complaints to Firstline, No response. Removed the system.

Now I sleep with my gun. (who knows when their contractor will return, or who he sold my address to.)

Firstline says they are not sure who the contractor is and that I have violated the contract by removing the monitoring equipment.(BETTER THAN NOT KNOWING WHO'S MONITORING) at least it feels better.

BE CAREFUL!!!!!

PS: Firstline Contractors like to state that they represent ADT. Firstline states that "this is not their their problem and they can not be held liable".
