Someone should do something about this company, the owner has been bouncing and writing rubber checks to employees for almost a year. Employees have complained to state agencys but nothing is ever done. I myself filed claims with the state and they agreed that he owed me but nothing was done, they sent a letter that ill have to sue him for double (around $10,000) which i will have to do out of pocket with a lawyer. Anther former employee won his case with the state as well for approximately 4000 as well but hasnt seen a dime either. myself and the other employee trusted this employer as we had known him for years, but now are both owed a very significant amount of money but arent being paid. the owner has a significant amount of assets but will just not pay anyone back. A complaint was filed with the department of regulation and licensing which governs this companys license but they have done nothing regarding this matter pretty sad the agency that is supposed to protect these employees hasnt even investigated anything very sad. So this employer is still able to take advantage of mostly eight dollar an hour employees and nothing is ever done about it many of these eight dollar employees rely on this money for rent and livelyhood and live check to check. Fortunately i have an education and have moved on and im sure eventually ill have to take legal action, however I wish that there was someone out there that would do something about this is there anyone who can help. It just is unfair to these employees that this owner is allowed to bounce checks and take advantage of people like this,its a security and investigative company which should be held to higher standards of integrity, these employees go to the bank and have no idea if there checks are good or not hopefully someone who can do something will help these poor employees. As a former employee I feel very badly for these eight dollar an hour people they have no one to help them while the employer continues these very poor business practices.
