Pinnacle Security Straight to collections Orem Utah

I moved from my home where I (stupidly) signed up for a Pinnacle Security System. They stated that I had to get the new owners to take it over, move the system, or pay off my contract. So, I opted to pay off my contract and NEVER have anything to do with this company again. However, they never sent me a final bill! I ensured that all of my mail was forwarded, too. So, I never got a final bill, they never called to get my new addres, and then, almost a year later, they have "sicked" a collection agency on me. I think it is very unfair to the consumer, and detrimental to their reputation, they they did not practice more due diligence in getting the original bill to me. Now, they STILL will not send me the original bill. Nor, will Pinnacle Security or the collection agency send me documentation that my account balance is zero. The interaction that I have had with this company makes me very leery that they are going to try to collect this balance again. This is not the way to run a reputable, ethical business.
