CareerTrack Fred Pryor Seminars Making me pay for a seminar I never attended! Kansas City Missouri

I was not able to attend a seminar I registered for personal reasons; something I couldn't plan for came up at the last minue. Apparently they have a policy that if you don't cancel before 10 days, you still have to pay the entire registration fee. That was not made clear to me at the time of registration. So now they are extorting me for the $79 registration fee.

I will pay my bill tomorrow just so they don't send this to collections.
I couldn't find a way to pay online this evening, and when I called, their customer service was already closed.

I think this is most ridiculous thing ever. How on earth can they charge someone for something they never got! In essence I do feel they are robbing me of $79. I didn't get to attend the original seminar I wanted. Now, after seeing how they treat people, there is no way I want to attend a different seminar for equal or lesser price from them; although that is what they offer. I certainly would never suggest the company to anyone. When I first called to discuss this the “customer service rep” couldn't even find me in their system because I didn't have a certain indentifying number; I had no idea what it was. Why couldn't they look me up by my name, address, etc?

Oh, and I continue to be hounded by mailings for seminars. I was told this could continue for 24 weeks. What a colossal waste. I have asked several times for this to stop and to be removed from their lists. What a colossal waste of paper. I am sending ever single thing I get from them now on back refused. I finally got them to stop emailing me about future seminars. I had to block them to do so though.

I have found Fred Pryor/Career Track to be ONE OF THE MOST UNFRIENDLY COMPANIES TO THEIR CUSTOMERS EVER.
