Brian Glendale CFO Of C.H. Robinson Company & Nicole Hamilton, Claim Agent Attempting to get me to cash a check to pay the supposed taxes on a lump sum winning of 150,000 in North American Retailers Guilds. Eden Prairie, Minnesota

I received on 6/22/2009 a letter dated 6/12/2009, postmarked from Canada, informing that I had won $150,000 in a sweepstakes entitled North American Retailers Guild, which I have never heard of, much less entered into a contest with.

Further, enclosed was a check written on a C.H. Robinson Company, company account, in the amount of $3,990.00 for the purpose of cashing and sending the majority of it to a Claim Agent named Nicole Hamilton, for the purpose of paying the taxes on the winning amount.

The check looks legitimate enough, but it is clearly illegitimate otherwise. I have read about these sorts of scams and have received other checks in the past, with the same sort of strategy.

Please do NOT fall for this, and for the love of God, do NOT send any money to these people.
