Signtronix ,Signtronix refuses to cancel order even though city won't let us put up sign where we want it. Torrance California

We had ordered a sign from Signtronix. The next morning, the city inspector came in to inspect our other sign and we were told we couldn't put the sign up. We tried to contact the salesman but he never returned our calls. We called the company and they asked us to fax a copy of the city ordinance to them, which we did. We assumed they were cancelling our order, but two weeks later a sign was delivered and we refused delivery because it was supposed to have been cancelled. Deborah keeps calling us but will not work with us. She said she called the city and they said we could have it (yea, in the back of the store where no one will see it).

The salesman that would never return our call left a note on our door threatening collections if we don't accept the sign. That was done this morning (01/12/09) before anyone was there. The finance company has already called me and I explained the order was cancelled. They were very nice about it.

The point is, the order was cancelled well before they could have gotten started on filling the order. They did not tell us the first time we called that they had no intention of cancelling the order. I will never trust another salesman that comes into our store again!
