Len Robbins, Classic Barns And Garages Did not pay for Drawings and Engineering Services provided. Gaylordsville Connecticut

Our Civil Engineering firm was hired by Len Robbins for the purpose of preparing drawings and providing Civil Engineering services required to secure building permits from the Town of Ridgefield. Our work was started and completed in a timely manner in the spring of 2007. Permits were issued by the Town based on our drawings and construction was completed by Robbins. The Town said the the building permit fee, check submitted by Robbins, bounced and the home owner provided their own check for work to be allowed to continue.

Mr. Robbins never paid for our time/services. Several promises to pay were made by Robbins but he never did pay. He does not answer/return our phone calls nor respond to our billing statement letters. We filed paperwork for small claims court in August of 2007.

In March of 2008 we went to court (Robbins did not show, of course) and the court judged in our favor. Payments of $35.00 per week were supposed to start on March 27, 2008 and we have not yet received any payment. We'll continue with the next steps in the legal system.
