Julie L Cunningham of Families First in Brattleboro, VT Perjured in Family Court so that she could milk government funding streams. I had gone to her asking help for my disabled son, and I was told there was funding for services for him--in fact, I was reassured of it. But she plotted with a Special Ed teacher and a mental health counselor whose agency (HCRS) was thirsting for "keep afloat" funds to find something they could use to claim that my husband and I were abusing/neglecting. They colluded with my son to have me sneak tape recorded in the privacy of my home WITHOUT A WARRANT. They used some recordings of me yelling (nothing unusual, like any stressed out mother would) to claim that my teenager was abused and needed an "emergency" removal. So my son was ruled to be "unsafe at home", thrown into foster care, and I was charged with Neglect even though he was never neglected. Julie then actually told my husband that she knew we did not abuse or neglect him, but that there was the need for funds; supposedly for the sake of the child. HUGE amounts of government funding was released when my son was thrown into foster care, while much less money (but adequate for the services he could have had while staying home, which would have been enough) was involed for his true needs at home. Ms. Cunningham's FAMILIES FIRST agency was very happy to receive those funds for their salaries, bonuses, etc. but didn't care that they were destroying a vulnerable disabled teenager. My son is now an adult, and he is in the streets doing drugs and involved in criminal behavior, getting arrested and thrown into jail from time to time. At home he had had very good values, didn't want drugs, respected the law. What happened? And he won't have eanything to do with his parents, for he remembers the coaching he got that his parents were abusers.
