I subscribed to 247Downloads 3 days ago. I was eventually successful in downloading file finder, however, I am not able to open it. I get a message saying it cannot be opened, because I need to contact the vendor to verify that it is a valid Windows Installer. I have e-mailed them 3 times, and have gotten no response.

After downloading Spyware Killer, and using the password that was assigned to me, I was told the password was invalid/incorrect.

I feel I have been taken on a "ride," especially after reading other reports on this site.

I plan to immediately request a cancellation of my membership, and a refund of my money, although I am pretty sure I will never see my money again.

Contact NYS Attorney General

AUTHOR: Mike - Rochester (U.S.A.)

Since the mailing address is in NYS, and since we have some very strong consumer protection laws (and a very active Attorney General's office), you may wish to contact the AG for assistance. Since most of the postings are not in NYS (and some are not in the US), I'm not sure how much recourse you would have, but I'd be willing to bet something can be done. Good luck!
