I was shopping for website developer for my company and found the www.activeunit.com on the Internet. As they claim to provide solutions I needed and were ready to customize them within reasonable amount of time, I agreed to their terms. It was important for me that I am dealing with a North American company, so they sent me the registration info of a LLC in Texas
We have been working at the DDS for few weeks and when it was ready I signed the agreement and paid the 1st installment on July 2006, the project was due of September 2006.
The US company transformed into a Belarus-company with Dmitry Varivonchik as a project manager. The total amount I paid according to the contract was $8070. The project was not completed by September 20th, 2006. there were endless delays, but as the work was in progress, I was willing to wait and get what I need.
Dmitry has been communicating actively about the payments, and disappered when the results were to be performed.
Long story short - the project has never been completed, the files I have are worthless as nobody wants to finish somebody's work. Dmitry Varivonchik does not reply any e-mails or answer the phone. Chris O'Brien, the CEO of ActiveUnit.com whom to I initially applied claims that the complany splitted and he has nothing to do with the project of ActiveUnit.net
Please be aware that ActiveUnit.net has been online even few weeks ago. ActiveUnit.com is still online attracting new clients who will pay for work never performed.

Hello,
This is all true about Dmitry and activeunit.net. Just like Chris has told you: company splitted and Dmitry does not have any relations with Activeunit at activeunit.com. Yes, activeunit.com is still working with clients world wide and I don't know any case when activeunit.com (working w/o Dmitry) got money and did not finish work.
I'm really sorry about your case and I know few more clients that were in situation just like that working with Dmitry and activeunit.net but we can't help as we can't be responsible for his actions.

Sounds like a SCAM. I did business with ACTIVEUNIT and ActiveUnit.com and I paid to ActiveUnit.com or simply ACTIVEUNIT and you should be the ones to refund my money!
