Where to begin:

1) Hiring standards -

The companies poor standard begins with their hiring standards for new employees.  Which they have none.  They will hire anyone, with college experience or not, for that matter with no experience in the position they are to be hired.  A perfect example is their CEO, a South African with no college experience at all and he boast the fact that colleges are unnecessary. Then they claim they will train you, which is true for maybe half the positions they hire.  They run on a philosophy of hire and quickly fire, either you work out or not.  Which is mostly in part because the head of human resources, CMO, CFO, and personal assistant to the CEO is his wife (however they keep separate last names to remove any suspicion).  They discipline employees who make it known they are new hires, probably because their employee turn over ratio is so high.  Every business development employee is a director, every costumer service employee is a "producer" or account executive.  All titles given to give the allusion anyone at the company is more experienced than they are, which they are not.  In an office of 50 or so employees at least 35 are under the age of 30.

If you plan to be the internal champion and support a LiveTechnology solution think again.  They make claims to have many of the fortune 500 companies, and boast the fact they work with "16 of the 50 most admired companies".  Although this isn't a 100% a lie, it is however, a stretch.  Many of the companies they claim to work for are for different purposes and do not use their primary business solution.  For example, Bank of America.  They claim thousands of Bank of America employees use their solution saving an estimated 80 million dollars a year, when in reality several hundred probably do and the figure is insanely inflated.  Which is also a statement to go along with their pricing strategies: insanely inflated, depending on if your GE or a regional bank the price of the same marketing solution will range from 150,000 to 500,000, with no real reason other than your company can afford it.  This has no weight on development costs or fees, in fact, most of the prices are made up on the spot. 

Many companies spend a lot of money on one of these solutions to abandon it.  Why?  Because for this type of solution to work it needs to be adopted by all of your employees and many just never will.  Most of the companies they boast use their software if anything baught it, and then dumped it, because it was never used.  So if you want to waste a few hundred thousand of your companies dollars, go with LiveTechnology!
