HH Gregg Buyers Beware....They will switch model #'s without telling you! August Georgia

On March 12, 2009 I bought a Whirlpool dishwasher from HH Gregg.
The model # I bought was DU1055XTVS. I was told the Dishwasher would be ready for pickup the nextday, March 13, 2009. I sent my granddaughter to pick it up and they told her it was not there, It would not be ready for pickup until the next Thursday. Since I was not ready to install it anyway, I
waited until Wednesday, March 25 to pick it up.

When I got home and opened the box I noticed it did not look like the model I paid for. Upon checking model numbers, I found out it was a different model
number, it was #DU1055XTSS, a previous model.

I called the store and talked with Steve, the employee who sold it to me.
He stated that he had called and told me he was giving me a different model number. That is a Bold Faced LIE!! First of all, I Never spoke to him on the phone. Secondly, I never would have agreed to accept the previous model for the newer model, which had a lot more festures than the older one, and the newer one cost More!!!

I asked to speak to the manager. He said the manager was busy at the moment (very convenient) and he would call me back. The manager called me back (also named Steve) and said he was standing there when the employee called to tell me about the switch. What Liers they are!

Is HH Gregg's so desperate that they have employees and managers stoop
to lying?

I told him I was bringing the dishwasher back and wanted a refund of my money. Now this was on March 27, 2009. The check was written on March 12,2009. It cleared the bank on March 16, 2009. He had the Nerve to tell me I would have to wait 10 to 14 days before I could get my money back!
I called the cooperative office in Indiana and they were no help at all!!

I will never buy from this company again. This store has very unscrupulous
employees, and by the complaints I've seen, a lot of other stores are likewise!
