Starcrest Of California Sent check...received nothing....not even a word. Perris California

I received an envelope from Starcrest of California about three weeks ago. It was full of loose leafed offers of inexpensive gifts and gadgets, etc.

I filled in the form to order about a half dozen items and wrote a personal check for 79 dollars and change to cover it all. I immediately mailed the check and order form in the provided envelope.

I have heard nothing since. Usually I receive an email with a tracking number from all other organizations I've ordered from. I immediately went to the net and searched for their phone number or site to inquire...(I had already sent off that info in the mail with my order as it was part of the order form itself).

That's when I surprisingly was re-directed to the "Ripoff Report" site and saw a whole listing of people who have allegedly had their monies taken by this company without compensation or any attempt at communicating or contact in any form.

My own search for a number or any reasonable way of making contact with the company was met with negative results.

I am deeply concerned by the number of people accusing the company of malpractice and outright 'theft' and no report of anything being done as yet about it concerning an action along a type of litigative avenue.

I am a retired Dep Police Chief and the items I had ordered were for a group of crippled children. I orderd, I paid in full, and those monies will now be intentionally kept without any type of reimbursement?

....can you say "Punitive Damages" any clearer?

....How about "Incarceration" for the intentional act of "Theft"?
