National Wholesale Tools ripped off walker Cedar Rapids Iowa

On April 17, 2008 I purchased a scooter from National Wholesale Tools. I talked to a gentleman named Siegfried Kientoff. The scooter arrived a week later than promised. It was supposed to come on a truck with a lift gate, instead it was in the back of a van with an elderly woman driver. I had to wrestle a 335 pound crate out of the van by myself. It was supposed to come with a free detachable storage trunk. Never came.

After the scooter arrived I was supposed to send in the VIN # to receive the Manufacturers Certificate of Origin, But the seller couldn't tell me where to find it. I finally got that straightened out, and got the MRO. I then purchased insurance on it so that I would be able to get Title and tag with no delay. The Tag office wouldn't accept the MRO, because Fl. law requires that the seller sign off on the odometer reading, and it had been signed off on by the importer. The tag office told me to return the MRO along with a note from them explaining what needed to be done to make the MRO acceptable in the state of Fl. I returned the MRO and the note by certified mail. Three weeks after I sent it, it was finally signed for by a Kitty Kientoff. That was June 9 of 2008. I have heard nothing from them since. Phone calls go unanswered and e-mails get no response. Nine months after purchasing the scooter, I am still unable to ride it.

These people are operating under more names than there was space for on the upper part of this form. Siegfried Kiene, aka Siegfried Kieneoff, aka Siegfried Kientoff. National Wholesale tools, and National Online Scooters. These are listed as being in or around Cedar Rapids Iowa. There is a Sunstate Powersports,LLC registered in Fl. to Siegfried Kientoff. I have found three different addresses for it in Daytona Beach Fl. I know one was an apartment in an apartment complex.

Kitty Kientoff has a company named National Online Sales With an address in Indianola Iowa. National Wholesale Tools has an address in Iowa with a Fl. Phone number.

All I can say is beware of these people. Perhaps they should combine all the companies into one called National Ripoffs Unlimited.
