Rockville Martial Arts - Kims Karate - Nick Capparell ripoff Rockville Maryland

I enroll my child in a Karate school, located in Montgomery Village,MD;

The name of the school is KIM'S KARATE, the school was located about 4 blocks from my house and was very convenient because my wife does not like to drive far distances and traffic.

At the beginning I was paying on the monthly basis and after taking my daughter to a few classes and approving the excellent teacher especially the main instructor, I decide to enroll her for a black belt club wich consist on a full payment with discount of the different belts, (8 belts)and about 24 months.

Because of my job I travel around the country and my wife was taking my daughter to the karate school 2 or more classes per week, after a few months I found out that the schools best instructor was quitting and I went to see what was going on.

The school owner "NICK CAPARELL" told me and a few parents that he was going to solve the problem and for a few weeks the school did not have a main instructor developing a delay on the kid's apprenticeship.

After a while he found an instructor wich seems to be good with kid's and we continue with the lessons. A few weeks later the owner of the karate school Mr NICK CAPARELL call me into his office and offer me a good deal in a master club membership (lifetime) for my daughter and I charge my credit card $1500 dollars.

A few days later, the school was close and we receive a notice that we can continue the classes at the Rockville,MD location wich is miles away from my home, and as I mention my wife hates to drive specially with the rush hour traffic,and the second option was that Mr NICK CAPARELL will reopen the school in the same area (Montgomery Village)within 3 months.

I found out that Mr NICK CAPARELL "trick" a few parents with the same deal even the night before he was closing the school. Well it's been over a year and after several discussions, we don't think he is gonna do anything, all we know is he tricked us and on the back of the contract in small letters as usually reads that he can move about ten miles away.

And after a while he switch the name of the school to "Rockville Martial arts and learning center" and I believe I won't be able to use my lifetime membership even if I wanted.
