WARRANTY ACTIVATION HQ, INC. I BOUGHT AWARRANTY FOR $2,800 FROM THIS COMPANY AND WHEH I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET MY RADIO FIX THEY DECLINE, THEY SAID IT WAS WATER INTRUSION, I NEVER SPILLED WATER IN THIS VEHICLE (2002) RANGE ST. LOUIS, Missouri

I paid $2,800 for a warranty from this company (warranty activation hq inc) for a 2002 range rover, the stero inthis vehicle quit working, i took do the dealership to get fix and they decline to fix it,Donot buy a warranty from these people, they will RIP YOU OFF.

No warranty on EARTH covers water damage to a stereo, unless.....

Now I know dealerships are a big giant rip-off..I deal with them enough..but honestly no vehicle warranty will cover water damage to the stereo..unless the water or liquid entering the stereo was caused by another defect or problem in the vehicle.

Now...was the stereo damaged by liquid...or do you believe it was not and the dealer is lying to get out of covering it under warranty? Were they able to show you any evidence of water or liquid on or inside the stereo?

The reason I ask is I have plenty of experience with Range Rovers..and I have witnessed cases where something to do with the cooling/heating system behind the dashboard can leak..and did ruin a stereo.

It is very difficult to get to for repair..well I know anything with behind those vehicles dashes is a nightmare..I am sure the dealer does not deal with it if at all possible.

Are there any signs of leakage on the floor or dash area interior of the vehicle? Hear see or smell anything out of the ordinary?
