Weekday Mornings Cashier is very rude - A black man named "Glaber". I love Whole Foods Markets, but avoid this location until 3pm. I finally had enough of him and complained to the company. I told the company I am sure he is a reliable employee as I know he has worked at the store for many years, but he does not belong in a Cashier's position. He does not treat people professionally or friendly. He is very rude. He should be stocking shelves. I did not receive a response, and he is still working as a cashier, so I must vote with my feet and shop at other Whole Food stores unless it's 3pm or later. I have shopped at many Whole Foods in Boston/Cambridge and never had a problem with any other employees at any of their stores. An elderly man I know has told me he has had the same experience with this cashier and avoids him when possible. If you shop there on weekdays between 8am to 9am, he is usually the only cashier working.

Update on Glaber, the  cashier.  (FYI-He is a black man with an accent.  He looks Haitian.   He wears a name tag).  I have been going to this store in the evenings to avoid him, and it appears Glaber's hours have been changed. He now finishes at 7pm.  Recently, during a number of times  I have shopped at this store,  I have noticed  that an  employee has been following me as if they think I am trying to shoplift.  I am not imagining this.  It has not happened when I shop after 7pm and Glaber is gone for the night.  Last night, an employee came up to me and stopped right next to me and watched as I was taking 2 cans of soda off the shelf to put in my shopping basket.  I stood there, made eye contact,  and waited a few seconds to see what would happen.   The employee then walked away, and I continued on with my shopping.  I believe Glaber the cashier is upset and just trying to get revenge on me, so he is obviously saying something to the effect that I have been acting suspiciously in the store.  He thinks this will keep me away from this store.  I approached the cold beverages to get a water which is right next to the courtesy booth and the casheir area.  Glaber was in the courtesy booth and saw me when I  entered the store.  He obviously kept a lookout to see when I would be approaching the checkout area.  He purposely exited the booth so I would have to be face to face with him when he passed me.  I made eye contact and said nothing.  He is probably hoping I will complain, because it could lead to me being asked not to shop at this location anymore.  I have no crime record, so this is all foolish.  I know financially this isn't a rip off, but I want to make his behavior public.  A lot of times, this store location is convenient, which is why I shop there often.

Are you sure you aren't just paranoid?  If people linger on certain aisles and/or make a lot of perimeter passes at any kind of store, they're likely to attract some attention by the employees.  Check to make sure you aren't making yourself look suspicious, before you jump to a conclusion like this.

Also, you never explained how he is rude.  Does he not greet well or hold conversation?  Is it his tone of voice?  there needs to be more explanation here.
