Proscout Lied, and ripped off young teens, children, and adults. ripoff Boston Massachusetts

I have been working as off and on actress for years. I attended the Proscout convention, regretably twice. The second time in hopes that it was a scam and that possibly i just wasn't ready the first time i attended. The second convention was even worse than the first. They gave us the impression that "Ashley simpson was there" and that we were going to get discovered. The entire convention focuses on acting alone, they lie and say that there are agents there for "acting" as well. I have had several agents in the Boston area and they are ALL lies. They were all stealing the casting information that Boston casting used to display for free. Boston casting still sends out emails ocasionally with casting information.

The only person i have ever been able to trust in the industry is a casting director out of weymouth named Jodi Purdy Quinlan. She is the one person who has never fed anyone any lies, she demonstrates the opposite. Without her i would have not have had any chances with work in the Boston area.

During the proscout convention i blew everyone away with my performance from Harry potter, when i went to the bathroom people were surrounding me with compliments and when i walked off stage the "main speaker" for the convention personally applauded me. Did i get a call back? Of course not. When i wrote an email asking why all i was told was that i did an amazing job but it only showed that i was amazing at imitating a character and not necessarly acting. Then why werent they specific with the type of monologue they wanted? Talent is talent, and if any of those agents were legitament i wouldnt be writing this report.

I heard on the radio this morning that the convention is having auditions all this week. I am tempted to go just to ask a million questions and save all those poor people from having their dreams crushed for something that isnt real. You should never have to pay for an agent, they get you work and thats how they should get paid. They should pay to find you not for you to find them. All i ask is that you keep a close eye on the convention that will be held at the sheraton hotel in braintree MA for auditions this week and the sheraton hotel in Boston MA.
