19^TH called cab company and scheduled pickup for 4:30 AM 20 January

20 JAN 04:15 called for cab pickup had not been scheduled. Cab was then scheduled and we were picked up at  4:30 AM, we were told cabs were allowed to drop passengers off thirty feet from entrance, due to Airport regulations. This was an outright LIE, the company was not permitted or insured to enter Airport property.

The driver took us down back roads, building the bill to $16.00 plus, we were dropped off at the base of a driveway, that had a lighted building at the top, unfortunately not the airport. We wound up having to drag our bags approximately one quarter of a mile to another building which was the Airport, at which one of their cabs was at their cabs was at the base of, this driver told us the other must be new, but that he wasn’t suppose to be as close as he was. When we inquired at the Airport what the problem was we were informed the cab company did not have the proper insurance and were not allowed on Airport property. When we were dropped off the cab driver was aware from the time of pickup, that both my wife and I were severely disabled, and it was pouring rain. The cab co. was recommended by clerk at Best Western Motel Somerset in San Luis Obisbo, who claimed they were the only cab company in the area. There are two other companies both licensed and insured, and allowed to enter Airport property.
